Holistic Grooming at Just Barking

At Just Barking all grooming is holistic - which means that we take an interest in your pet’s overall health and well-being.

All grooming is carried out at our 'in-the-window' salon in Kensal Rise. Cats and dogs of all breeds are welcome. We have a range of spa treatments available to choose from including the popular Mango Tango, the introductory Puppy Love or the de-greasing Fruit Bath. Pricing

Pricing is determined by size and breed of your pet as well as condition of the coat and general temperament. Although we might provide pricing estimates over the phone, we will appraise each animal on the day and confirm the final price for you once grooming has been completed. Generally, though, grooming for dogs starts at about £35. Grooming for cats starts at £40. Please contact us on 020 8964 3231 for more pricing guidance. We offer discounts on dog grooming for first-time visits and for Pensioners.

Hand-Stripping

Please note that, due to the manual nature of the procedure, hand-stripping is charged at £15-£25 on top of the grooming base-rate for your pet's breed/type, depending on the animal's size.

De-Matting

Please also note that 'de-matting'- the brushing out of tangled or knotted hair - is also charged at £15-£25 on top of the grooming base-rate for your pet's breed/type, depending on the condition of the animal's coat and the time taken to groom. We prefer to shave excessively matted fur rather than brush/pull it out, since it's less painful for your pet and doesn't take an inordinate amount of time. Cheaper for you, better for your pet.

Quick Visits

You are welcome to book a Quick Visit if your pet requires, for example, nail clipping, ear cleaning or a tidy up. A Quick Visit starts at £10.
